Pro tip: if you get the zombie infection, you can march in there with your molotov and not have to worry about being so careful with your evasion tactics. As the spectacle grows, so it will draw more and more zombies. If you leave, for some reason the fire can go out. You can watch the road from behind the fence and they can't or won't get you. It has a tall wire fence that the zombies can't climb. There's a perfect place for this near the warehouse, opposite the gas station in Westpoint. But also also, stick close to the car/fire to make sure they all catch on fire. But also, sneak off so they stick with the car/initial fire point and not leave it for you. Now the tricky part, they will be upon you and you have to stay close and corral them while they lunge at you. Right click to aim, left click to throw and watch it slow-mo through the air toward the zombies. So keep as much of a distance as is affordable. Second, your frame rate will be through the floor if there's a big horde around the vehicle. First, you have probably less than a minute before the lighter runs out, leaving you with a useless unlit molotov. Get close ish, put molotov in primary and lighter in secondary.

You need a lighter (preferably full) plus the molotov to be ready to watch the little buggers burn. Gas is easier to find and can make multiples if you have a few empties. To make a molotov cocktail you need either a bottle of whisky and a rag, or some gas and an empty bottle and a rag. I wasn't even in/near my base when they broke in.

In my case this happened and they caved in a fully boarded up window in the dead of night so I had to fight a whole bunch in the dark while tired. Even a siren that's fairly far away can draw zombies through you base. Just don't be too visible or you'll lure them away from the siren.īe careful you don't pull them through your base. If you set it off and peg it, when you come back, it'll still be pretty devoid of zombies. What was news to me was that when a siren is activated, you have to babysit the area and surrounding area and watch the zombies go in.

If you see one in a good spot (away from your base) crank it up! Forgive me if this is already too known/obvious but otherwise share your tips!ĭon't forget that emergency vehicles' sirens can still be activated even if the keys aren't available. But it took some figuring out and fine-tuning.
